Follow on question from FOI reference: 1124, issued: 31/1/14:
How many people who work with children and were convicted of an offence against a child were not barred from working with children by the DBS in 2013?
Specifically, in your answer to FOI 1124 you stated 219 people who were convicted of Autobar offences were not barred from the Children’s DBS List following representations. Therefore, I would like to know:
- How many of these 219 people that were not barred had a link/worked in a Regulated Activity?
- Of these, how many of them had been referred to the DBS following a conviction for a sexual offence against a child (under 18)?
