Innovate UK’s strategy aims to identify emerging technologies, including:

  • energy-efficient computing
  • energy harvesting
  • non-animal technologies
  • new imaging technologies
  • graphene
  • quantum technologies
  • synthetic biology.

The aim is to create national programmes in these fields, open up opportunities for businesses, and enable the UK to be fastest to global markets.
