These 9 guidance documents provide general information on those provisions within European Union Regulation 1177/2010 (incorporated into domestic UK law by section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018), concerning the rights of passengers when travelling by sea and inland waterway. The guidance specifically relates to the rights of the passenger with regard to the obligations of:

  • carriers (cruise and ferry operators)
  • port terminal operators
  • travel agents
