This guidance is aimed at encouraging organisations that install electric vehicle chargepoints to consider the role design can play in ensuring an inclusive, accessible and easy-to-use charging network.

Identified through engagement with the public, industry, local authorities and design experts, the design considerations build on learnings from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles chargepoint design concept unveiled at COP26 in November 2021.
