The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Day Group Limited.
The proposed variation changes a standard rules permit into a bespoke permit.

Operator application to vary an existing Standard Rules permit to a Bespoke Permit. No changes to the current operation activity, tonnage, or waste types are required. As the Standard rules specification has been reviewed the site within a Source protection zone 1 category, can no longer operate within the standard rules, so the Bespoke permit is required to enable continuation of this facility. The site has a sealed drainage system and operates on an impermeable surface, deemed as a low-risk activity with the inert waste nature of permit.
