- that, unless the CMA otherwise consents, Mr Jenkins shall not undertake, for a period of 6 months, any work involving Google
- that, unless the CMA otherwise consents, Mr Jenkins shall not undertake any work on the CMA’s Google and Apple mobile SMS investigation, up to and including June 2026

that unless the CMA otherwise consents, Mr Jenkins shall not undertake, for a period of 2 years from his last day in the Civil Service, any work on any matter he was involved in whilst working at the CMA, including any work closely related to, or arising from, such matters, on behalf of his new employer (or on behalf of any clients of his new employer). This includes (but is not limited to):
- CMA’s Google search SMS investigation
- CMA’s investigation into Google’s Privacy Sandbox
- that Mr Jenkins, for a period of 6 months from his last day in the Civil Service, may not appear on any matter before the CMA, or be directly in contact with the CMA on any matter, on behalf of his new employer (or on behalf of any clients of his new employer).
- that Mr Jenkins, for a period of 6 months from his last day in the Civil Service may not undertake any work related to contract procurement which involves the CMA, unless the CMA otherwise consents
Mr Jenkins has also been reminded of his on-going obligations of non-disclosure of information received during his time at the CMA and that, for a period of 2 years from his leaving the Civil Service, if he intends to take on other paid or unpaid roles, he will need to make a new application under BARs regarding the new role.

- that, unless the CMA otherwise consents, Dr Ryan shall not undertake, for a period of 2 years from his last day in the Civil Service, any work closely related to, or arising from, the CMA’s Cloud Services Market Investigation, and any such work that was in contemplation as at 5 January 2026, on behalf of his new employer (or on behalf of any clients of his new employer)
- that, unless the CMA consents, Dr Ryan shall not undertake, for a period of 2 years from his last day in the Civil Service or until the publication of the final report, any work closely related to, or arising from, the CMA’s Merger Efficiencies Review, on behalf of his new employer (or on behalf of any clients of his new employer)
- that Dr Ryan, for a period of 3 months from the start date of his new employment (2 March 2026) may not appear on any matter before the CMA or be directly in contact with the CMA on any matter, on behalf of his new employer (or on behalf of any clients of his new employer)
