This information is for all state-funded primary schools.

The reception baseline assessment (RBA) will give us and schools a way to measure the progress of their pupils from reception to year 6.

We will pilot the RBA in autumn 2019 with volunteer schools.

The RBA is scheduled to become a statutory requirement for schools from September 2020.
