Details
Buscot Lock will be closed to all boat traffic for the majority of 23 November 2020. We will, however, endeavour to open the lock between 1pm and 2pm to allow customers to pass through the lock. We expect this work to be complete by 5:30pm.
This is to allow the completion of a detailed engineering survey that wasn’t able to be completed last year due to high flows.
Our engineering consultants will be using a large mobile pontoon to access all sections of the lock chamber. The information obtained from the survey will enable us to better understand the condition of individual lock elements and also to prioritise our future investment programmes.
