Details

In 2017, the Government Equalities Office funded a number of questions in the annual British Social Attitudes Survey, run by the National Centre for Social Research.

The GEO funded questions on a number of topics, including same-sex relations, prejudice against transgender people, body image, gender division of labour, occupational segregation, and harassment. This research briefing presents findings to these questions broken down by different demographic and socio-economic groups, and where available, historical data showing how responses have changed over time.
