Rear Admiral (retired) Jon Westbrook served for 38 years in the Royal Navy. He held command appointments at sea and ashore on five occasions and had Joint service posts in the MoD and the UK Permanent Joint Headquarters. Amongst other roles he has: run the Navy’s new entry training programme for ratings, delivered submarine and small ship sea and shore training and been a Chief of Staff in a NATO Headquarters before retiring in August 2013.
