Biography

Jane is an experienced Board member and Non-Executive Director. Throughout Jane’s career, spanning 30 years in global businesses, she has developed corporate brand for a number of high profile, successful companies in Energy, Telecoms, Information Technology, Financial Services and Professional Services e.g. SSE, the Post Office, O2, Three, ABN AMRO, Cable and Wireless, Deutsche Bank and PWC. For some projects, she was based in Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Jane has also served as an IT Executive Committee Member for two national organizations in retailing and banking. She has built effective remuneration committees as an advisor, member and chair, including establishing remuneration strategies to develop performance and results within the public, not for profit and listed, commercial sectors.

She has served as a Trustee of three charities, who help vulnerable people rebuild their lives and is a Trustee of the ABRS. Her early career includes companies such as John Lewis Partnership, the Mars Group and Fujitsu Services. She is a Fellow of the CIPD, a Chartered Director and included in the Cranfield 2016 Top 100 Women to Watch.

The Member of the Review Body on Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration is independent. Its role is to make recommendations to the Prime Minister, the Secretary of State for Health, the First Minister and the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing of the Scottish Parliament, the First Minister and the Minister for Health and Social Services in the Welsh Assembly Government and the First Minister, Deputy First Minister and Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety of the Northern Ireland Executive on the remuneration of doctors and dentists taking any part in the National Health Service.
