Grenville Turner

Current
Grenville is Non-Executive Chairman of Watkin Jones Plc and Chairman of Titlestone Ltd and of Bellpenny Ltd. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Zoopla Property Group and Vice-Chairman of the English National Ballet.
Previous
Grenville has almost 40 years’ experience in retail banking and the property sector. Past directorships have included Countrywide Plc, Rightmove.co.uk, St James’s Place Plc, Sainsbury’s Bank Plc and Realogy the largest realtor in the US.
Grenville qualified as a Chartered Banker in 1982 and holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. Following a career in retail banking, Grenville joined the Countrywide Group, becoming Group Chief Executive in 2007. Taking the Group private in 2007, he then led the Group’s return to the public market in 2013 and became Non-Executive Chairman of the Group in September 2014 until April 2016.
Role
Grenville Turner was Non-Executive Director on the DCLG Board from January 2014 to April 2017 and was Chairman of DCLG’s Nominations and Governance Committee.
