Elizabeth Bell has been re-appointed as a member of the Police Remuneration Review Body and National Crime Agency Remuneration Review body. Her re-appointment commenced on 1 September and is due to end on 31 August 2019.
Currently HR Director of Screwfix. From 2008 to 2011, Elizabeth was HR Director for B&Q. She began her career as a graduate trainee with Marks & Spencer plc where she became Personnel Manager. Elizabeth was later a Personnel Controller for Duty Free Shoppers and, after a period of five years living overseas, joined Wickes Building Supplies as HR Manager in 1995. Her career continued in HR in the retail sector including spells with Waterstones, Jaeger, TK Maxx and Principles. Elizabeth has a BA in Sociology and Social Administration.
Members of the National Crime Agency Remuneration Review Body are responsible for:
- making recommendations on the pay and allowances of National Crime Agency (NCA) officers designated with operational powers
- considering written evidence from the Home Office, the NCA, trades unions and other interested parties
- conducting research on pay and related matters
- visiting the NCA to meet NCA officers with operational powers and management to gather information and views on pay and related issues
The member of the PRRB is responsible for providing independent advice to the government on pay and conditions for police officers at or below the rank of chief superintendent in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
