David Lebrecht (appointed January 2014 to August 2018) Currently an employment relations consultant to major corporate clients, and an ACAS arbitrator. David was previously a member of the Prison Service Pay Review Body. He worked for British Airways from 1993 to 2008, mainly as Head of Employee Relations and latterly as interim HR Director. From 1979 to 1992 he was a Union official for BALPA.
The Chair of the National Crime Agency Remuneration Review Body is responsible for:
- making recommendations on the pay and allowances of National Crime Agency (NCA) officers designated with operational powers
- considering written evidence from the Home Office, the NCA, trades unions and other interested parties
- visiting the NCA to meet NCA officers with operational powers and management to gather information and views on pay and related issues
The Review Body on Senior Salaries provides independent advice to the Prime Minister, the Lord Chancellor, the Secretary of State for Defence, the Secretary of State for Health and the Home Secretary on the pay of: the judiciary; senior civil servants; senior officers of the armed forces; certain senior managers in the NHS; Police and Crime Commissioners; chief police officers; and other such public appointments as may from time to time be specified.
The chair of the PRRB is responsible for providing independent advice to the government on pay and conditions for police officers at or below the rank of chief superintendent in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
