Charity Interim Managers in place
Interim Managers currently appointed to charities by the Charity Commission.
The Charity Commission has the power to appoint an Interim Manager to act in the administration of a charity.
It is a quasi-judicial power and can be used only after opening a statutory inquiry under section 46 of the Charities Act 2011 if we consider that there has been misconduct or mismanagement in the administration of a charity, or if it is necessary or desirable to protect the charity’s property.
