Crime news: tender process for 2017 crime contract opens 21 July

Procurement process opens for delivery of criminal legal aid services from 1 April 2017.

Organisations are invited to tender for a new crime contract starting on 1 April 2017.

The procurement process started on 21 July and is open to both existing crime contract holders and new entrants.

The deadline for submitting responses is 12 noon on 15 September 2016.

Contract documents

Tender responses must be made online through the eTendering Portal. A helpline has been set up to provide support with technical problems – see below.

Submitting questions

If you have any questions about the content of the IFA, these must be raised through the eTendering system by 8 August 2016.

Questions of wider interest will be collated and answered through a frequently asked questions document which will be published on 22 August 2016.
