Summary

Proposes a new suite of signs for private level crossings on the railway to improve safety.

This consultation ran from

Consultation description

This consultation proposes replacing existing signs at private level crossings on railways in Great Britain with new signs that more clearly and unambiguously convey information to users.

This should lead to better public understanding and the safer use of these crossings.
