Information for applicants who may have been asked to provide DNA evidence to support their immigration application.

This information is for anyone who thinks that their immigration case may have been influenced by an inappropriate demand for DNA testing. The provision of DNA evidence in immigration cases should always be voluntary and never mandatory.

A helpline has been set up for anyone who thinks they may have been affected to get advice and support.
