Grants for farmers to establish short rotation coppices to be harvested as a renewable energy source.

How much you can get

Up to £1,000

Who it’s for

You must be a farmer in Nothern Ireland and prove that:

  • you’ve researched willow growing
  • have an end use for the wood chip produced
  • have a viable business plan and the technical skills necessary to make the project succeed

You must be able to sign a contract saying you’ll maintain the crop used as a renewable energy source for 5 years.
