Although most cases have been reported in Ituri (6,450 cases, including 2,968 deaths), an increase in the number of new cases has been reported in North Kivu (1,729 cases, including 1,005 deaths). The case presented with symptoms a month ago and received treatment from several hospitals in the DRC. A total of 20 confirmed cases (including 2 deaths) were reported in Uganda.
