10. Progress on implementing measures
This section describes and links to the river basin planning progress report.
The River basin planning progress report contains an assessment of what was achieved and what happened in the period 2016 to 2022, following publication of the previous updates to the river basin management plans in February 2016.
It includes summaries of the:
- progress towards achieving the environmental objectives in the 2015 plans
- implementation of measures
- improvements made to the evidence used in river basin planning
- changes to environmental quality standards and the water body and protected area networks
