Details

Legislation progressed through Parliament to ensure the regulatory regime in the UK continued to function following the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020. While the various regulations still cover the UK, their provisions are applied differently in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The guidance summarises the changes to the process for placing goods on the GB market that were made on 31 December 2020. It does not cover any subsequent amendments to the regulations mentioned.

Northern Ireland continues to align with all relevant EU rules relating to the placing on the market of manufactured goods.
