We attend a range of events to meet customers and give advice and guidance on planting woodland. We also hold face-to-face and online training events and webinars on specific grant schemes and areas of forestry, that we encourage people to sign up to in advance.

We update this page regularly with new events.

Nottinghamshire County Show

Suffolk Show

Dates: 29 to 30 May 2024

Visit the Woodland and Agroforestry Advice Hub for free 1:1 advice from the Woodland Trust and Forestry Commission. We’re on Stand 22 so come and chat about making the most of woods and trees for your farm business. Book tickets for the Suffolk Show.

Cereals 2024 (Hertfordshire)

Date: 11 to 12 June 2024

Visit us along with Royal Payments Agency (RPA) and Defra at Cereals 2024; one of the largest trade shows for arable farmers. We will be on hand to discuss woodland creation, management, tree health and the grants and support available for farmers and landowners.

Lincolnshire Show

Date: 19 to 20 June 2024

Join us at the Lincolnshire Show at our stand with other Defra organisations. We will be on hand to discuss woodland creation, woodland management, the benefits of woodland on your land and the grants and incentives available.

Groundswell (Hertfordshire)

Date: 26 to 27 June 2024

Join us at Groundswell and discover how tree planting can support and improve biodiversity, soil health, provide protection for crops and livestock as well as improving water quality and mitigating flooding.

Royal Norfolk Show

Date: 26 to 27 June 2024

Association of Professional Foresters (APF 2024) (Warwickshire)

Date: 19 to 21 September 2024

We expand, protect, improve and connect England’s trees woodlands and forests, promoting the sustainable management of woodlands and increasing their value to society and the environment. 

Come and talk to us for advice and support on woodland creation, woodland management, how to reduce the threat from pests and diseases and see Forest Research demonstrating their work in their innovative mobile laboratory. Get tickets for APF 2024.
