The requesting ITT places document explains the process lead schools and accredited ITT providers should follow to request ITT places for the 2019 to 2020 academic year.

The allocations methodology sets out the characteristics and criteria that DfE have considered for granting permission to recruit and allocating ITT places for:

  • provider-led courses
  • School Direct fee-funded courses
  • School Direct salaried courses
  • postgraduate teaching apprenticeship courses
