January 2018 update

This release presents revised figures from the July 2017 count, incorporating updated data submitted by local authorities following publication in November 2017. For more information see the updated statistical release.

This release presents data from the count of Traveller caravans in England which took place on or around 14 July 2017.

The twice-yearly count takes place in January and July, recording the number of caravans on both authorised and unauthorised sites across England.
