Severe mental illness (SMI) profile: June 2024 update
Update of the premature mortality and excess premature mortality for people with SMI indicators (including condition-specific indicators) for the periods 2015 to 2017 through to 2018 to 2020, and new publication for the periods 2019 to 2021 and 2020 to 2022 for England, regions and upper tier local authorities will be published. The previously announced new condition-specific indicators for suicide and COVID-19 are delayed subject to further analysis and quality assurance.
