On 2 September 2021 the Chancellor Rishi Sunak and Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held the 11th UK-India Economic and Financial Dialogue which saw ambitious agreements on tackling climate change and boosting investment through economic cooperation, financial services and trade.

The Joint Statement by the governments of India, the UK and the Climate Finance Leadership Initiative on mobilising climate finance in India is published.
