This publication provides data on the UK government's special advisers and their pay bands.

Details
The following data sets of special adviser numbers and pay bands have been released.
They list the names of the special advisers in post as at 21 December 2016, including:
- each special adviser’s pay band
- actual salary where this is £64,000 or higher
- details of the special advisers’ pay ranges
- the total pay bill cost of special advisers for this period
