Details
HMRC commissioned Ipsos to conduct research with customs intermediaries. This research aimed to:
- accurately estimate the size and capacity of the customs intermediary population and the sub-groups within it
- build on previous research designs to create a more robust sample frame and method for conducting surveys with this population
- better understand the population in terms of structure, characteristics, and the services that customs intermediaries provide for their customers
The Wave 3 survey took place between 26 March and 6 May 2021 and consisted of 473 telephone interviews with 15 follow-up, qualitative in-depth interviews conducted between 5 and 16 July 2021.
The Wave 4 survey took place between 23 September and 9 November 2021 and consisted of 344 telephone interviews with15 follow-up, qualitative in-depth interviews conducted between 25 October and 8 November 2021.
The Wave 5 survey took place between 17 February and 22 March 2022 and consisted of 257 telephone interviews with 15 follow-up, qualitative in-depth interviews conducted between 17 and 31 March 2022.
