This research into the customs intermediaries sector aimed to:
- revise the estimates of the size and capacity of the customs intermediary population and the sub-groups within it
- build on the previous wave of research with this sector
- continue to better understand the population in terms of structure, characteristics, and the services that customs intermediaries provide for their customers
- measure change in customs declaration capacity in response to Transition policies as part of multiple waves of surveys
The research consists of the second wave of phone surveys, follow-up interviews and sizing work to estimate the total size, make-up and capacity of the sector as a whole.
