Reduction in the lifetime limit for Entrepreneurs' Relief - technical note
This note explains the reduction in the Entrepreneurs’ Relief lifetime limit announced at Budget 2020.

Details
At Budget 2020 the Chancellor announced that the Entrepreneurs’ Relief lifetime limit would be reduced from £10,000,000 to £1,000,000. This will apply to qualifying disposals made on or after 11 March 2020 and to certain disposals made before 11 March 2020.
