Details

This revised Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE) Code E had effect from 2 February 2016.

It outlines the requirements for audio recording interviews with suspects.

It was revised following a statutory consultation.

It was superseded by PACE Codes E and F 2018 on 31 July 2018.
