The Export Control Organisation (ECO) has updated and amended 7 open general export licences (OGELs) and 1 open general transhipment licence.

They include:

Key changes

The changes reflect amendments to the EU dual-use export control list in Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 428/2009 which came into force on 15 December 2018. These changes have been incorporated into the UK’s Consolidated list of strategic military and dual-use items that require export authorisation.

Licences will come into force on 4 January 2019.

Action for exporters

Copies of the amended OGELs are linked from this notice. Exporters must use these OGELs with effect from 4 January 2019.
