The Quantum Technologies Strategic Advisory Board (QT SAB) has drawn up this strategy on behalf of the quantum technologies community. Innovate UK and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) have published the document.

The strategy aims to:

  • create a coherent government, industry and academic quantum technology community
  • enhance the value of some of the biggest UK-based industries.

The strategy explains how the UK can take advantage of the astounding properties of emerging quantum technologies. These are expected to have a major impact on sectors including:

  • finance
  • defence
  • aerospace
  • energy
  • telecommunications.
