Public Health England has produced this national breast screening pathology audit for the 3-year period April 2016 to March 2019. The report aims to:

  • inform pathologists of the range in performance across screening service/laboratory biopsy quality assurance (BQA) statistics
  • allow assessment of laboratory pathology performance against relevant standards
  • allow comparison of departmental results with other services
