This guidance note should be read in conjunction with MSN 1781 (as amended) – The Merchant shipping regulations 1996: COLREG, MGN 313 – Keeping a Safe Navigational Watch on Fishing Vessels, MGN 315 – Keeping a Safe Navigational Watch on Merchant Vessels and MGN 379 (as amended) – Navigation: Use of Electronic Navigation Aids. This guidance note replaces MGN 369 which has been revoked.
