Details

This inshore Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) was announced on 31 May 2019.

Purbeck Coast MCZ is an inshore site that covers an area of 282 km2. The site is located in the Eastern channel and stretches from Ringstead Bay in the west to Swanage Bay in the east along the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
