Mounts Bay MCZ: 2016 designation order

Details

This inshore Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) was announced on 17 January 2016.

Mounts Bay MCZ is an inshore site located on the south-west Cornwall coast in the south west of England. The site covers an area of almost 12 km² and is centred on the village of Marazion, approximately three miles east of Penzance. The site includes the area surrounding the iconic tidal island of St. Michael’s Mount.
