Sign up for Making Tax Digital for VAT
This service is no longer available.
Most businesses have now signed up to Making Tax Digital for VAT. HMRC will be signing up all remaining businesses to Making Tax Digital for VAT automatically, unless they are exempt or have applied for exemption.
You can no longer sign yourself up and agents no longer need to sign up clients.
You must now use software that is compatible with Making Tax Digital for VAT and keep digital records, unless you have been granted exemption or are awaiting a decision on an application for exemption.
