Details

This Report on the Major Review of the Judicial Salary Structure sets out the SSRB’s analysis of evidence and makes proposals on the pay of salaried and fee-paid members of the courts and tribunals judiciary across the UK. It has been customary for the SSRB to be asked, roughly every five years, to carry out a Major Review of judicial pay and this Major Review was commissioned by the then Lord Chancellor in October 2016.

The government responded to this report in Parliament on 26 October 2018 and 5 June 2019. The full government response can be found here.
