The Minister of State for Equalities and Levelling Up Communities, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Local Government Act 2003, makes the following determination:

Citation

1) This determination may be cited as the Local Council Tax Support Administration Subsidy Grant (2022-23) [No 31/6145].

Purpose of the grant

2) The purpose of the grant is to compensate local authorities for the cost of administering Local Council Tax Support (LCTS) in 2022-23.

Determination

3) The Minister determines the authorities to which grant is to be paid and the amount of grant to be paid as set out in Annex A of this determination.

4) Payment of grant will be by a single instalment in May 2022.

5) Before making this determination in relation to local authorities in England, the Minister of State obtained the consent of the Treasury.
