The Committee held two roundtable discussions as part of its review into local government ethical standards.

• Wednesday 18 April 2018: Monitoring Officers, clerks, and Independent Persons
• Tuesday 24 April 2018: Academics and think tanks

The roundtable on Wednesday 18 April 2018 was held under Chatham House Rules. The Committee is publishing a non-attributed summary note of the discussion. The roundtable on Tuesday 24 April was held on the basis that participants would approve the transcript prior to publication.
