The House of Commons Procedure Committee launched an inquiry into Exiting the European Union (EU): scrutiny of delegated legislation on 15 September 2017.
The Social Security Advisory Committee (SSAC), was set up with the independent statutory remit of scrutinising draft secondary legislation on social security – with its advice available to both government and Parliament.
This is SSAC’s response to the Procedure Committee’s inquiry.
