1. Action: review of end of year 16 to 19 study programmes data for 2016 to 2017

We have published the findings of the annual review of end-year 16 to 19 study programmes data for the 2016 to 2017 academic year, which includes actions for providers.

This is the fourth annual review we have completed with the purpose of ensuring that public funding supports the core principles of study programmes.

2. Action: Taking Teaching Further applications now open

On 12 December, the second round of the Taking Teaching Further programme opened, inviting bids from post-16 providers to help attract industry professionals to teach in further education (FE). Deadline for applications is noon, 15 February 2019.

Taking Teaching Further is open to all FE providers, and will initially run for two years with a focus on priority sectors, including the first T Level routes.

Further information about the programme and how to apply can be found on the Education and Training Foundation website.
