Addressing the needs of women in low income countries is at the core of DFID’s agenda and women’s health and wellbeing is the backbone of a nation’s development. This review assesses DFID’s maternal health work results between the period 2011 and 2015 across three domains: impact, equity and sustainability.
The report is timely and the recommendations will feed into DFID’s upcoming strategic planning work.
