This document sets out the principles underpinning the arrangements with private sector organisations to engage with the Civil Service to facilitate furloughed employees volunteering in the Civil Service ​and to support the wider public sector response ​during the period of furlough. This is in response to the COVID-19 outbreak impacting businesses and public sectors across the country.
