If your community is in a flood risk area, do what you can now to prepare for a flood. Don’t wait until it happens; you may not have time. 

The community flood plan includes a list of things you should do in advance of a flood.

This guidance is for anyone involved in supporting communities or groups, such as: 

  • people active in the local community 
  • leaders of community groups 
  • local responders 
  • people working in the voluntary sector 
  • any other interested members of the community
