Details

The guidance notes set out the terms under which the Department for Communities and Local Government is prepared to make emergency financial assistance available to local authorities above a qualifying threshold.

The individual local authority Bellwin thresholds are also included.

Changes have been made to the Bellwin scheme in repsonse to flooding in local authority areas in England 5 December 2013 to 13 February 2014. There is a form and guidance for local authorities to apply for this emergency financial assistance.
