16 to 19 tuition fund for academic year 2023 to 2024

This is the final year of funding for the 16 to 19 tuition fund. You have until the end of academic year 2023 to 2024 to spend your allocation. As in previous years, we will review end of year spend and recover any unspent funding.

  1. We have updated the page to confirm providers must spend their 16 to 19 tuition funding for academic year 2023 to 2024 by the end of the academic year because this is the last year of funding. We have also added summer schools to the list of eligible activity in section 7.4.

  2. We have added guidance on how to submit your in-year spend report. All institutions in receipt of 16 to 19 tuition fund for academic year 2023 to 2024 must submit a report between 9am on the 3 January and 5pm on the 26 January 2024.

  3. We have updated the how to complete the 16 to 19 tution fund 2023 to 2024 guidance. The window to to opt in or opt out of the 16 to 19 tutition fund for 2023 to 2024 is now open and will close on 20 October 2023.
