Rod Kentish
Biography
Rod joined the Cabinet Office in January 2014 as a Senior Policy Advisor responsible for Departmental Engagement in the Efficiency and Reform Group. In June 2014 he moved to the Infrastructure and Projects Authority of the Cabinet Office working in the Public Services and Tax & Welfare teams.
Previously, Rod has worked at executive board level within global professions, particularly legal. This included recently working as Director of Administration for the Americas (New York, Washington DC and Sao Paulo) as well as Head of Global Projects (Brussels and London) for Linklaters; Global Corporate Director (London) for Clifford Chance; and Global Business Manager for DLA Piper’s Real Estate Practice.
Head of Project Delivery Adviser Team
As Deputy Director and Head of the PDA Team, Rod is a member of the Infrastructure and Projects Authority Senior Leadership Team. In this role he leads a team of Project Delivery Advisers who provide expert advice, challenge and support to projects in the Government’s Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP). He also has responsibility for X-Government Transformation and EU Transition portfolios as well as the IPA Associate Pool.
